Looking Out

Okay so here's the thing. I tried drawing an actual living breathing awesome person with photo reference. That would be Avril Lavigne: [link]
Now, here's what I have to say about this:
1) I'm an amateur
2) I should really take anatomy lessons
3) I should look up shading techniques and tutorials
4) I need to get more patience
5) High contrast pictures are so complicated to draw
6) I'm not perfect, although I wish dearly I was
7) I tried
8) It almost looks barely alike
9) I should probably try to do this again in the future with the same piece
10) I missed so much detail
11) The hair. It would be slightly easier if she wasn't blonde (Not that it's not awesome it's just that I suck at this D: )
